Crayon Recycling Center at the Morris Public Library

With guidance from Battle Lake-based artist Kathrine McDowell, participants crush, melt, and mold old crayons into usable works of art to foster creative reuse and environmental awareness.

This drop-in artmaking program is for kids and teens of all ages interested in innovative repurposing. Stop in anytime from 11:00 pm-1:00 pm to take part in the activities.

This program is sponsored by Morris Public Library and Viking Library System, funded in part or in whole with monies from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
