Songs of America’s Small Towns with Charlie Maguire at the New York Mills Public Library

The first Singing Ranger in the National Park Service and Outreach Artist for the Smithsonan’s Traveling Exhibition Service, Minnesota musician Charlie Maguire brings a semiquincentennial collection of his songs with emphasis on the lives of everyday people in the rural United States: farmers, wilderness preservers, small business owners — those who put down deep roots in an Americana then grew and prospered.
Free and open to all but registration is encouraged. Please call 218.385.2436 or go to www.nympubliclibrary.org.
This program is sponsored by New York Mills Public Library and Viking Library System, funded in part or in whole with monies from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
