Author Hour: Jeffrey Sauve @ the Douglas County Library

Author and historian Jeffrey Sauve recounts the 1894 murder, billed as the “crime of the century,” when a young, unidentified woman was found slain on the isolated shores of Minnesota Point in Duluth. The woman’s identity was initially unknown, and detectives worked for two years to track down her killer. Sauve summarizes his exhaustive 10-year study that traces the villain’s descent into ruin, told in his nonfiction account Murder at Minnesota Point.
